Undoing Venus 2023- to present ongoing.

Subject, Not Object “Undoing Venus" is a visual deconstruction of the idealized female form as portrayed throughout art history—particularly in the tradition of the nude. Drawing from classical archetypes like Botticelli’s Birth of Venus or Titian’s Venus of Urbino, the series challenges the aesthetic codes, mythologies, and patriarchal lenses that have shaped how women’s bodies are depicted and consumed. Each painting becomes an act of resistance against perfection, passivity, and ornamental beauty.
